This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location is super interesting and unique - staying in a gatehouse of a cemetery is jaw-dropping. The peaceful and beautiful cemetery is a must-visit. The property itself is stunning, in perfect harmony with the surroundings. It was sparkling clean and tidy, with comfy beds and all the kitchen bits and bobs needed for a delicious homemade breakfast. The sound of the stream running under the property added to the charm. The high street with bars, shops, and takeaways is just a 2-minute walk away. Getting a parking permit was a breeze. The quirky and cosy accommodation combines Victorian charm with modern comforts like free Wi-Fi and underfloor heating. Being right next to the cemetery was fascinating and ideal for our dog's exercise. The host was extremely helpful, and the area was fantastic. The place is beautifully decorated with a unique style and located on a quiet street over a small running stream. The facilities had a charming 1930s-ish touch, and the comfort was outstanding. It's spacious, quiet, and just steps away from Ecclesal street. The attention to aesthetics was impressive, ensuring fabulous photos. The perfect location for our visit, situated in the middle of Hunters Bar and Nether Edge. And as someone who appreciates historic buildings, the gatehouse's character was a delight. Plus, the free Wi-Fi, convenient car park, electric kettle, cookware, and board games were great additions. Pets were allowed, and it's a smoke-free property. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it!

We had a truly memorable stay at this lovely gatehouse. The unique decor and heritage setting made us feel like we were stepping back in time. Despite being located on a quiet street, the convenience of Ecclesal street right at our doorstep was unbeatable. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, and the spacious accommodations were a true delight. We particularly enjoyed the tranquil sound of the nearby running stream. we highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a charming and convenient stay in Sheffield.
Although our stay was nearly perfect, we encountered a couple of minor inconveniences. The key code pad was difficult to see in the dark, so some additional illumination would have been helpful.

I loved staying at the gatehouse next to a cemetery, such a peaceful and intriguing location. The property was clean and tidy, with comfy beds and a stream running underneath. Plus, the rental income goes towards conserving the cemetery's historic charm.
Oh, parking was such a breeze! I just had to navigate a tightly packed residential area with limited on-street parking and a conveniently closed overnight car park nearby.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was super convenient for our family event and we could easily walk around. The Cemetery walk was surprisingly intriguing and the peaceful sound of the river nearby was jaw-dropping. The aesthetic of the property was top-notch, making it perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. The gatehouse itself had so much character and charm, especially for someone like me who works with historic buildings. Plus, the property was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The beds were ridiculously comfy and there were all the kitchen bits and bobs we needed for our own breakfast. We even had the pleasure of hearing the lovely stream running under the property. The fact that there was a high street just a 2-minute walk away with bars, Tesco, Costa, and takeaways was a huge convenience. The parking permit worked like a charm and we had no issues finding parking. our stay was unforgettable and we would absolutely book again. The host was incredibly helpful and the area itself was fantastic. Can't recommend it enough!
